Supporting local during COVID-19

The coronavirus is a topic on everyone’s mind. We are living in uncertain times and every business, big or small, is shook. Like many of you, I love supporting local businesses and social distancing has forced many owners to close up shop. While I know that it would be difficult, I truly hope that together, we can help these businesses survive. Without us, they may not be a part of our future.

To keep things positive, I put together a list of ways we can all help. We may be in self-isolation mode, but we are stronger when we come together and we can still make a difference.

Here are 5 simple ways on how to support local during quarantine times:

  1. Shower their social accounts with love. Show your support by giving them plenty of likes, comments and shares. <3

  2. Buy a gift card to help them get through these rainy days. You can always spend it when they open up shop again.

  3. Speak up and write a review. If you truly love a business, what better way to let them know with a review from your most recent visit.

  4. Stock up on their products online. If the business has a shop or offers take-out/delivery, jump in on that.

  5. Offer or donate some help. If you can offer something that can help their business like a type of service, I’m sure it will be much appreciated.

Stay safe and let’s battle through this together!
